I think it took until this past lesson (21) to finally have her remember all the sounds for the letters. Those vowel sounds can be tough, and there are a few other challenging sounds to letter/letter combos that I wouldn't think of myself right away. I used to be a web programmer. So we use Homeschool Skedtrack which is free. I can look back and see which lessons were done on which dates and how long they took. Another question, HAve you come across any great record keeping book? I don't have to keep records of what we do but would like to and need to find a good organizer like that. In the first three lessons I remember they said that the child was supposed to master all the sounds that each letter makes--did you find that Satori needed to do this before moving on to the real lessons? It seemed hard for my little one to memorize the sounds of the letters out of context like that (like the four sounds of a, but never seeing the letters making some of those sounds in actual words with the tiles). He still hasn't memorized the sounds for them, except for the sounds we have learned in the words that have been in the lessons so far. What do you think?
