My daughter is not supposed to start Kindergarten until Fall 2010 also, but I started teaching her K material this fall. It's a silly rule and we're so glad we're not stuck following it. Love homeschooling!

I'm going to comment on this page with any major updates.

1. Satori knows all her alphabet now, both upper and lower case, as well as all the letter sounds (the most common sound for each letter, plus a few others).
2. She can read and spell out simple words.
3. She now wants to be things OTHER than princesses, hooray!
4. She is still stuck at number 13, but I admit we haven't worked on it. (If she's anything like her parents, she won't have a problem with math, but we will be working on it more this spring/summer!)
5. She knows lots of Spanish words and often asks me "como se dice..." or "como se llama"...
6. She knows where many countries and states are located, and their capitals, can describe their flags, and a bit more about them.
