Dam Jammer

  1. Level 1 – Shape Recognition – Plug holes in the dam with basic shapes. Bucky the Beaver can’t do it alone! As each shape is placed, its name is displayed and spoken. Level 1 even includes a short video about shapes too!
  2. Level 2 – Flips and Turns – Help Bucky the Beaver plug the holes in the dam before time runs out! But you might have to flip and turn the shapes to make them match the holes. It’s a great way to exercise those spatial relations skills!
  3. Level 3 – Polygon Puzzles… Combining Shapes
    Fill a rectangular or square space in the dam in Level 3 of this arcade-style game. Figuring out how the pieces fit together is the challenge here. And the faster you are, the more points you get!

Social Studies

These are excellent games and label maps! The Clue Map of the United States kicked my butt, so I’d wait until Grades 3-5 age for that one. I definitely need to start learning! I think my 6 year old can do the Label Maps of the US though.
